The sixth Abu Dhabi Film Festival (ADFF), which runs from 11th to 20th October, is one of the region’s foremost platforms for Arab film and cinema. As part of the festival, organisers have announced that submissions for films in its competitive and non-competitive sections are open to the public. These include documentaries, feature-length and short films.
Selected applicants will showcase their films at the ADFF, widely considered to be one of the Middle East’s premier art exchanges and attended by respected local and international filmmakers.
The jury for the competitions will be made up of some of the world’s most outstanding figures in art and cinema and includes prizes in the narrative, documentary, New Horizons and short film categories ranging from 100,000 to 10,000 US dollars.
*The deadline for submissions is 15th July, 2012 and you can enter the competition or learn more about the festival by going to http://www.abudhabifilmfestival.ae/en/festival/regulations
